Onondaga drama presents Disney‘s ’Beauty and the Beast’

Onondaga Junior/Senior High School announced its upcoming production of Disney’s musical, “Beauty and the Beast.” The enchanting tale, brought to life with Alan Menken’s unforgettable score and Howard Ashman and Tim Rice’s captivating lyrics, will transport audiences to a magical world of love, courage, and self-discovery.
Adapted from Walt Disney Pictures’ iconic animated film, the show tells the timeless story of a cursed prince transformed into a monstrous creature. To break the spell, the Beast must learn to love and be loved in return before time runs out. The production will feature a talented cast of student actors and singers. Produced in cooperation with Music Theater International, and accompanied by lively music and elaborate costumes, they will bring this beloved story to the stage.

The show will run Friday and Saturday, Nov. 22 and 23 at 7 p.m. and on Sunday, Nov. 24 at 2 p.m. in the high school auditorium, 4479 South Onondaga Road, Nedrow. Tickets will be available for sale at the door, $7 for adults and $4 for students.
